Am I Finally a Cool Kid?

All the other kids are getting them and now I got one. So when I first posted about smartphones, I didn't know as much as I thought because this SPRINT PPC-6700 is a pocketpc. I can get email, IMs, browse the Internet and integrate with my work's MS Exchange servers. It is VERY cool.

Last night I was perusing the Net for cool pocketpc sites and found the following:

Most of the sites I found through PocketPCMag. They have a 2006 review of software as well as a $3400 bundle package of software for $250. It's worth a look.

Couch Made of Mouse...Pads

SO someone made a couch outta 2000+ mouse pads. That is freakin crazy on a couple of fronts. The first is that someone had access to 2000+ mouse pads and are they new or used. The second is that someone even had the thought of such a quirky idea. How do ya keep from knocking the arms of the couch off?

Free Licensed Software

Giveaway of the Day is a site that allows you to get a licensed copy of a software package free. Need I say more?

"Giveaway of the Day gives you one free commercial software application every day. What's the catch? Each program is available for 24 hours only, and you must install it the day you download it.

To clarify, the software doesn't expire after 24 hours. Rather, you have a 24-hour window in which to nab it and load it. But once that's done, it's yours to keep. Sweet!"

For Cereal?

This is a cool idea of creating a cereal bar (cafe), Cereality, for people on the go. You get a chinese take out like box filled with cereal and a spoon that also serves as a straw. This is freakin awesome!

"When you walk up to a Cereality, something immediately feels familiar. That's because we serve dozens of brand-name cereals (both hot and cold), just waiting to be combined.

And ordering at Cereality is easy. Pick two cereals and a topping. Be creative. We'll mix it up, and then you add as much milk as you like (including soy and lactose-free). "

Red-Rover, Red-Rover, Send All PC Gamers Right Over

So I play XBOX 360, before that I played XBOX and before that I was a hardcore PC Gamer that was totally addicted to Unreal Tournament. I have friends who won't game with me now because they prefer mouse and a keyboard over a console controller. Well that is all now a thing of the past. These two worlds of console and pc gamers can now unite as one with the help of the XCM XFPS Xbox 360 Keyboard/Mouse Adapter.

GPS and Google Earth

I have been looking for a GPS for running and biking and this GPS combo is pretty cool. The Suunto GPS watch in combination with software allows data to be integrated into GoogleEarth. This would be great to visually recall that backpacking trip through Europe. [via Gizmodo]
